Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHADEUS (TED) JOSEPH LENOSKI December 31, 1921 - January 15, 2003 Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 15, 2003, Ted Lenoski, aged 81, passed away at Concordia Hospital with his family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years Ruth; two children, Joanne (Andy) Gerwing and Jim (Janice) Lenoski; eight grandchildren, Jeff (Nicky) Gerwing, Steven (Sherri) Gerwing, David Gerwing, Chris (Lisa) Lenoski, Kathy (Cliff) Canners, Lesley Bryck, Jennifer Lenoski, and Trevor Lenoski; one great-grandchild; sister-in-law Betty Lenoski; brother-in-law Dr. Thadeus Zwirkoski; and many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. Ted was born and raised in Winnipeg. At age 18 he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force. After serving for seven years he came back to Winnipeg, joined Air Canada and was a member of the 40 Year Club. He was also a member of the Holy Ghost Fraternal Aid Society for over 50 years. He loved socializing with friends and family and was always eager to participate in family functions. Ted was a very generous husband, father and grandpa. The family would like to thank the doctors, staff and Chaplains at Concordia Place and Concordia Hospital as well as the Bethania BTU for all their care and support. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 17 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Mausoleum. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Teds memory to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
